As we all know, the exam was composed of 3 sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English Language. The exam pattern in details is as follows.

English Language (Easy-Moderate)

English section was easy.Few topics covered in this section were as follows:

Tip from our exam expert: As we can see the RC is story based which is of a moderate type so it becomes important to attempt RC and also there is good weightage of grammar portion so you can’t skip that, try to attempt Phrase Replacement as these are of the easy level.

Numerical Ability (Easy)

To much surprise of SBI aspirants, Quantitative Aptitude Section was not challenging at all. The level of questions was easy, with a few tricky ones. There were questions from tabular DI in the 3rd shift. Few topics covered in this section were as follows:

Tip from our exam expert: Students you can easily score  20+ marks in this section. Attempt simplification, Data Interpretation questions first and then move miscellaneous questions in which you are good at.


Reasoning (Moderate)

For Day 1, the level of difficulty of SBI PO Prelims was Moderate. This section comes out to be bit tricky and time-consuming. Topics covered in this section are as follows:

Tip from our exam expert: As you can see there were questions asked from data sufficiency which is usually asked in mains. So, Candidates are requested to attempt the question which is direct and less time-consuming (like Series and coding-decoding) then go for puzzle and sitting arrangement as it comprises of 15 marks. Do not get stuck in any of the puzzle if u feels so just skip and move to next question.
